Come on out to see Upstart play for charity

Upstart will be doin’ their thang for a good cause THIS SATURDAY, 3/19/11 at the Cat Club in LA to benefit the Angel Builders’ organization and hopes that you’ll dig deep and join us for an amazing evening.

Angel Builders’ mission is to implement art, music and performance programs in schools globally, but particularly in impoverished areas of Africa. Upstart is excited to be playing the Sunset strip with some of Tony’s talented music students from Crossroads School in Santa Monica. Upstart is Comin’ to Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach 8/8/2010!

Hope the summer is treating you well. I wanted to let you know that Upstart is doing a cool show next Sunday 8/8 in Hermosa Beach at Saint Rocke (142 Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach, CA 90254) We will be playing fairly early…at 8 pm, in support of the touring “Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band”…wish I had thought of that name. Damn. Tickets are $10. Should be a good time for all.

If any of ya are interested in hangin’ in Hermosa Beach for a bit before the show, let me know. The late afternoon sounds like it has all the ingredients for a good hang.

Also…we are looking to update the Upstart email list-thing. So…I’ll include you on the “official” band emails, unless you let me know that you would rather not have Upstart all up in your Inbox.
